THE REMAINS of the FLIGHT
What remains of life on Earth after humanity is gone?
The series MUTANTS is situated thousands of years after the disappearance of humanity, at a time when Earth persists under radically altered conditions. Environmental collapse, nuclear radiation, atmospheric imbalance, and climatic instability shape the planet.
In the absence of humans, life reorganizes. Mutation becomes a response to prolonged exposure to radiation and environmental instability. Forms change, while the continuity of nature remains. The capacities of organisms shift, while forms endure beyond their original purpose. Human civilization survives only as residue, leaving static traces within ecosystems that no longer depend on them.
MUTANTS considers how life endures when established systems collapse, and how survival is redefined as Earth continues its transformation without human presence.
